Mount Cusna is the largest summit of the Appennino Reggiano, and measures 2121 meters in height. The mountain is also called the dead man for the profile that resembles that of a man lying, or the Giant. From this last place-name is called the protected area of the Parco del Gigante, of 23,000 hectares, which includes the municipalities of Busana, Collagna, Ligonchio, Ramiseto and Villa Minozzo. Cusna is located on the resort with the ski slopes of Febbio.

TREKKING

Parco del Gigante Park Regional High Appennino Reggiano, or Parco del Gigante, according to the description used is one of the largest among those Emiliani and racciude inside a variety of places and environments of high conservation value and landscape.

Its membership includes some of the highest peaks of the Apennine Mountains north, from which you enjoy extensive views over steep valleys, extensive forests and extensive grasslands summit.

There is a wide choice of hiking and trekking in the park every day of the Giant, with nearby Mount Cusna (2,121 meters) that is part of the National Park Appennino Tosco-Emiliano.
